Moorhill Primary School are looking for a part-time HLTA, or Higher-Level Teaching Assistant working 19 hours per week to assist teachers inside and outside the classroom.
Your primary duties include:
Preparing classrooms for lessons, including setting up televisions for video presentations and sourcing books and handouts for studentsTeaching classes unassisted, especially when Teachers are ill or on leavePlanning and delivering learning and enrichment activities, either with Teachers or independentlyWorking with small groups of students or individuals needing special attentionDeveloping specialist curricula in areas of interestAssessing students’ progress and discussing development with Teachers, parents and CarersConsoling students who are unwell, injured or upsetMoorhill Primary School has a welcoming and highly dedicated team, committed to working in partn...
