The Morgridge College of Education is looking to hire adjunct instructors for the 2026-2027 academic year to teach a variety of graduate courses in the Higher Education program. Opportunities depend on department needs and may not be available every year. Available courses may vary. More information about the courses can be found on the Registrar’s Office schedule of classes at . This posting will serve for multiple openings that may arise throughout the 2026-2027 academic year.


Essential Functions


Course Adjunct Faculty Responsibilities: 

  • Teach in person or online in the format and schedule for the course (depending on course) 

  • Design a new course or adapt an existing one. This includes creating or utilizing existing learning outcomes, support materials, in partnership with HED faculty mentor 

  • Create a course calendar per the quarter system;
