Job Summary

Operates the heaviest goods vehicle – truck/lorry – typically with six or more wheels and a detachable trailer. Transports materials to and from specified destinations, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and local roads. Ensures accuracy of logs and other required documentation. Operates tractor‑trailer trucks/lorries to pick up and deliver products, supplies and equipment to and from organization, supplier and customer sites. Actions may involve complex pickups and deliveries, such as night deliveries, international travel, and transport of dangerous or hazardous products.
