The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) Heersink School of Medicine seeks non-operative orthopaedic physician in the pediatric division holding MD (or equivalent) at the rank of Assistant Professor, tenure earning. Candidate must be experienced with limb deformity, spine, sports medicine, neuromuscular disease, fracture care, trauma, and upper extremity.Candidate must be board certified or board eligible in orthopaedic surgery, and eligible to be licensed in Alabama. Candidate must have completed a fellowship in non-operative pediatric orthopaedic medicine after prior training in Pediatrics or Family Medicine. The candidate must have in-depth clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, be highly motivated, and compassionate to all patients.
