Healthcare Assistant – Outpatients

The Duchy Hospital in Harrogate is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare. We are seeking a Healthcare Assistant to join our Outpatients department. This is a full‑time role for 37.5 hours a week with flexible shift patterns.

Duties Of This Role Include

• Assist patients with personal hygiene, washing, dressing, toileting, oral care, and mobility needs, respecting their preferences and dignity.
• Help patients with eating, drinking, and nutritional support, including documenting intake where appropriate.
• Provide comfort and emotional support to patients and relatives, creating a caring and safe environment.
• Carry out and accurately record routine observations such as blood pressure, pulse, respiratory rate, temperature, oxygen saturation, and blood glucose levels (after appropriate training).
