**Position Purpose**

+ Check-in, assemble and analyze the medical records of discharged patients in an established departmental format; assure completeness and accuracy of contents of the medical record.

**As a “Health Records Technician” you will:**

+ Responsible for ensuring the retrieval of all discharged records and the timely availability of quality scanned documents in the electronic medical record for patient care.
+ Retrieval, reconciliation, preparation scanning, quality control checks and validation to ensure that all records scanned in the electronic medical record is of the highest quality possible.
