Location: Ward 3- Acute Frailty Unit, Wellington Regional Hospital
Contract: Permanent, Part Time 0.8 FTE Rostered and Rotating
Health Care Assistants play an important part in patient care within the Acute Frailty Unit based in Ward 3 at Wellington Regional Hospital. The successful applicant will communicate effectively and prioritise tasks appropriately under the delegation of a Registered Nurse. Responsibilities include assisting nursing staff and patients with activities of daily living, restocking clinical supplies, maintaining a clean environment, and conducting patient observation and engagement. Energetic and motivated individuals with good communication skills who hold NZQA Level 3 in Health and Wellbeing (or equivalent) are encouraged to apply.
