Job Summary: To be a member of the practice based nursing and clerical team providing high quality care to the practice population, supervised by members of nursing, medical and management teams at all times, working within your capabilities.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Clinical duties:
  • Routine blood pressure checks and ambulatory blood pressure monitoring for patients with appointments.
  • Routine urine checks as requested.
  • Phlebotomy for patients with appointments.
  • Routine regular dressings (Acticoat or four layer) following training.
  • ECGs for patients referred by GPs.
  • Assists in clinic sessions and ensures equipment clean & sterilised.
