Permanent full‑time opportunity within Health, Safety and Wellbeing for Te Kaunihera o Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland Council). SME role supporting people leaders and kaimahi. Hybrid role (3 days onsite, 1‑3 days remote) with travel throughout the region. Based in Auckland CBD with travel to support sites.

Responsibilities

The Health and Safety Advisor plays a key role in supporting managers, people leaders, and kaimahi by providing practical Health and Safety advice and guidance. The role offers the opportunity to pioneer, design, develop and implement Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HSW) systems and frameworks across a large, complex organisation.

• Provide technical guidance, peer support, and act as an escalation point for HSW issues.
