Role

We are currently looking for a permanent Head of Mechanical to join our team at Dunbar Cement Plant .

This role is site based 5 days per week, Monday to Friday on a 37 hour week.

Role Responsibility

In the role of Head of Mechanical you will be responsible for:

• Medium to long-term objectives of the Mechanical Maintenance department. Acting as a champion for engineering improvements and promoting best practices for the Plant.
• Managing and motivating the team, ensuring coordination and cooperation between Maintenance and other Plant departments.
• Identifying skills gaps within the team, building plans for development including 1-2-1’s and PDP’s, supporting longer term retention and succession planning.
