Responsibilities


  • Lead and manage the Property and Repairs Service.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulatory standards, including the Social Housing (Regulation) Act .

  • Develop and deliver Asset Management Strategies and long-term investment plans.

  • Manage stock condition data, lifecycle planning and asset performance.

  • Oversee repairs, maintenance, planned works and capital projects.

  • Support budget setting and long-term capital investment planning.

  • Manage contracts, procurement and contractor performance.

  • Identify opportunities for regeneration, remodelling or disposal of underperforming assets.

  • Prepare reports and present recommendations to senior leadership and Members.

  • Lead and develop a high-performing, customer-focused team.
