Responsibilities Lead and manage strategic risk profile of the RAF. Lead and direct the implementation of corporate governance best practices and policies within the RAF’s Risk management environment. Lead and direct the development, implementation and maintenance of risk management policies, processes and strategies. Support the reinsurance function in the management of reinsurance recovers to ensure that reinsurance contracts provide appropriate cover to the RAF business. Ensure that the risk mitigation strategies are appropriate, implementable and that associated targets are achievable for business units. Lead and direct the risk mapping using the strategic, key operational and business unit-level risk profiles to establish what risks are assured and by whom and what risks should be assured and by whom.
