We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in a fast-paced retail food production environment in Edenvale, Johannesburg.

Key Requirements Minimum 4 years’ experience in a similar role in high-volume food production within a retail environment Strong stock control and ordering experience Must have strong knowledge of Food costing, GP’s and Meal Cost breakdowns Proven staff management skills, including rostering and handling disciplinary processes Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays Solid HACCP knowledge and experience Hospitality qualification (formal certificate or diploma required) Knowledge of packaging and food labelling will be beneficial Must be able to work in a customer-facing role and be willing to promote new products Contactable references Responsibilities
