We’re looking for a reliable, skilled, and warm‑hearted Handyperson to join our dedicated team in a specialist dementia care home. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys variety, and understands the importance of creating a safe, comfortable environment for our residents.

As our Handyperson, you’ll be the go‑to person for keeping our home running smoothly. Your work will directly support the wellbeing of residents living with dementia, ensuring their surroundings are safe, welcoming, and well‑maintained.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Carrying out day‑to‑day repairs, maintenance, and basic DIY tasks
• Conducting regular safety checks (e.g., fire alarms, lighting, equipment)
• Supporting with minor decorating, painting, and general upkeep
• Liaising with external contractors when specialist work is required
• Ensuring outdoor areas are tidy, safe, and pleasant
