Group Exercise Instructor - Part Time

POSITION SUMMARY: Under supervision of the Fitness Coordinator/Director or Branch Director and consistent with the Christian mission of the YMCA, the group exercise instructor is responsible for instructing safe, effective and fun group exercise classes, as well as enhancing the quality and growth of the program and retention of the participants of the fitness programs. The group exercise instructor will assist the Fitness Coordinator/Director or Branch Director with various branch activities such as special events, and other activities that occur on various occasions.

• Provide a safe and effective workout in the class format scheduled, in accordance with current accepted practices of exercise physiology.
