As the Group Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing and consolidating financial information across multiple entities, ensuring full compliance with IFRS, the Companies Act, and relevant regulations.
Your role will include monthly and quarterly reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and the preparation of group financial statements and board packs. You will analyse financial results, highlight key trends, and ensure accurate intercompany eliminations across the group.
You will take ownership of the group budgeting process, assist with tax calculations and disclosures, and ensure compliance with JSE reporting requirements where applicable. Additionally, you will support audit processes, respond to regulatory queries, and contribute to analyst presentations.
