Overview


Academic Advisement plays a crucial role in the success of GSE students. The primary goal of the position is to support students in pursuing their academic and professional objectives in GSE's programs. The Graduate Academic Advisor build relationships with students, assist in exploring and comprehending their choices, and tailor their entire academic journey.


Responsibilities


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

+ Understand Policies and Procedures: Familiarity with university and GSE policies and procedures is essential for this role

+ Provide guidance and support to a diverse student population regarding educational and career goals

+ Establishing ongoing relationship with panel of assigned students, including, but not limited to, Zoom and/or face to face meetings (minimally, twice a semester).
