GL Accountant
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a GL Accountant, you will play a key role in financial analysis and reporting for our Belgian legal entity. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will take ownership of month-end closing activities, ensure accurate and timely reporting, and collaborate with the wider finance community and other departments to support best practices and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities:
Maintain General Ledger Accounts: Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded in the general ledger. Account Reconciliation: Perform regular balance sheet account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.Fixed Asset Accounting: Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset register, ensure accurate capitalization, depreciation, and disposal of assets in accordance with accounting standards and company policy.
