About the role

The Occasional Care service at Glen Eira Sports and Aquatic Centre (GESAC) provides high-quality short-term care for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years whilst parents use the facilities. Sessions run Monday to Friday between 9am and 12pm, also during the school holiday period.

What You’ll Be Doing
As an Occasional Care Educator, you’ll:

Create engaging play‑based experiences that support children’s learning and development

Build warm, positive relationships with children and their families

Set up inviting rooms and resources to suit the day’s activities

Support children’s cognitive, physical, social, emotional and language development

Maintain accurate records, including attendance and incident documentation

Pack up, clean, and leave the room ready for the next exciting session
