Posting Summary

The at Rutgers Cancer Institute seeks outstanding investigators focused on the mechanisms of genomic instability, cancer genome evolution, and their translation into clinical applications. We invite applications for faculty positions at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. Appointments may be tenure track or tenured, depending on qualifications and experience.

The GICG program investigates how genomic instability arises, how defects in genome maintenance pathways drive tumor initiation and progression, how perturbations in these pathways influence tumor response to treatment. A key effort is on leveraging mechanism-based genomic and molecular markers to identify therapeutic vulnerabilities. Research areas span DNA repair and replication fidelity, chromosome segregation, cancer genome evolution, and gene expression and tissue homeostasis programs that shape tumor development and therapeutic response. Program investigators integrate me...
