The General Accounting Specialist is responsible for both executing and overseeing the full Record to Report cycle, including journal entries, account reconciliations, intercompany transactions, financial reporting, tax accounting, and month-end close. This role blends hands-on processing expertise with leadership responsibilities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, allocations, and adjustments
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, fixed assets, and intercompany transactions
