About The Role

Purpose of the Job: Responsible for the inspection activities required in the SASOS workshop.

Main Duties Involved But Not Limited To

• Bulk Strip and Detail Strip Inspection of Gas Turbines.
• Provision of engine bulk strip and detailed defect reports.
• Carry out stage inspections during engine build.
• Controlling the workshop Control Order Files and support documentation.
• Assisting the Company Quality Assurance representative in the absence of the supervisor.
• Ensuring all measuring equipment in the workshop is approved, calibrated and certified accordingly IAW the QMS manuals.
• Development and revision of workshop procedures as and when required.
• Sourcing suitable and effective alternatives to the OEM for required materials/repairs/overhauls.
• Shipping and receipt of material to and from SASOS approved vendors.
