Conduct performance tests such as contact resistance, insulation resistance (megger), high potential (hipot), timing tests, and relay calibration.
Troubleshoot and correct wiring, mechanical, and control issues using wiring diagrams, schematics, and test equipment.
Verify proper operation of interlocks, safety devices, and control logic.
Complete and maintain accurate test reports, inspection records, and startup documentation.
Interpret technical drawings and documentation including electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and product specifications.
