The clinical faculty position focuses on the instructional activities required to implement the clinical laboratory component of nursing courses under the supervision of a senior faculty member. Appointment period per semester basis determined by course needs. JOB FUNCTIONS A. Teaching Assumes clinical laboratory supervision role. Assists in clinical teaching activities within designated course(s) under the leadership of senior faculty. Assists in planning and evaluating clinical teaching activities within assigned course(s). Maintains currency of knowledge and skills in area(s) of preparation. Functions under the supervision of a senior faculty member who maintains overall course responsibility.
