Job Description
This role supports a high-volume pharmacy environment by accurately preparing prescription orders during evening and late-night hours. The Pharmacy Floor Technician works under the supervision of a pharmacist to pick, label, scan, and prepare finished prescriptions for final verification, while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and departmental procedures.
Responsibilities

+ Fill daily drug orders accurately and efficiently in a timely manner under the supervision of a pharmacist.

+ Pick, label, scan, and otherwise prepare finished prescriptions for final verification by a pharmacist.

+ Assist in processing returned drugs and recycle or dispose of medications according to established procedures.

+ Prepack frequently ordered medications, label them correctly, and store them as needed during low-volume times.
