My name is Chris. I'm the owner and founder of Black & Brew, a coffee house and cafe which first opened its doors in 2006 in downtown Lakeland. In opening my own business, one of my most important objectives was to build a POSITIVE work culture in which every individual was treated with the dignity and respect they deserve. In my own experience, I found that taking a job in the hospitality arena often meant dealing with toxic or even hostile working conditions. I knew we could build a better experience, and I'm proud to say that we have.
