Summary
The Forklift Operator is responsible for the operation of forklift in a safe and effective manner. The operator will lift and pull items from 5,000 – 15,000 pounds.
Principle Responsibilities and Duties
Operates motorized equipment used to move piping, vessels, engine compressors and coolers.Will drive lifts from 5,000 – 15,000 lbs.Will also lift and move 12X18 pallets with spotters to watch skid movement.Maintain accurate logs and records.Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods.Ensure adherence to safe work practices and procedures.Work under direct supervision.
