The operator will be responsible for safely operating a counterbalance forklift to move, sort, and load scrap metal. Key Responsibilities.
Operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck to move metal materials, scrap, stock, containers, and goods around the facility.
Load and unload deliveries of scrap metal, raw materials, and finished loads from vehicles and containers.
Stack and position materials safely to maximise yard space and support workflow.
Assist in sorting and organising materials by type and grade as directed by yard supervisors
