Duties and Responsibilities
1. Operating a Forklift Safely
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other industrial vehicles safely and efficiently.
Load, unload, move, stack, and stage products and materials.
2. Inspecting Equipment
Perform daily safety checks and routine inspections on forklifts and report any issues.
Ensure all equipment is in proper working condition before use.
3. Loading and Unloading Materials
Load and unload goods from trucks or containers.
Move materials to and from storage areas, machines, or loading docks.
4. Inventory and Record Keeping
Keep track of inventory movement and maintain accurate records.
Use scanners or manual logs to document material flow.
5. Warehouse Organization
Stack and organize products or materials according to company standards.
Ensure aisles, loading docks, and workspaces are clean and free of hazards.
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
