As our Forest Ranger in Charge, you will:
Develop and lead the implementation of strategic and operational plans for relevant forest products sales programs for a designated team to meet commercial and environmental objectives that are consistent with regional, business and Government policy.Monitor the effective, cost efficient and environmentally sound implementation of operational programs and associated risk management, asset protection for the harvesting/extraction and sale of forest products.Administer the provisions of the Forestry Act 1959 and other relevant Acts and Regulations, ensuring a consistently high standard of compliance, as they impact on DPI Forestry business activities, approve sales within delegated authority and conduct all aspects of environmental and sustainable forest management in accordance with legislation, policies, sales permit, harvest planning documents, codes, ethical conduct and workplace health and safety standards ...
