Job Title: Food Scientist I

Compensation: $65,000 - $70,000
Hours: 8:30 AM - 5 PM


Responsibilities


+ Conduct research and product development activities in the food and pet food industry.

+ Bring key skills and knowledge in generating new product ideas, processing concepts from idea to final production startup, and spearheading new technology development for extruded and injection-molded products.

+ Collaborate with sales, marketing, and regulatory teams to develop product concepts.

+ Work with Operations, Quality, and Regulatory teams to commercialize products, develop specifications, and arrange for guaranteed analysis.

+ Review packaging proofs for package weight, ingredients, guarantee analysis, and claims; participate in package review processes.

+ Source raw materials based on product requirements.
