Overview

The Food and Beverage Manager will oversee all culinary and beverage operations within the Donald Gorden Hotel and Conference Centre in Kingston, Ontario. The position is responsible for driving profitability, maintaining quality service standards, and managing staff across the hotel restaurant, bars, and banquets.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage the seamless operation of food and beverage services at the hotel, restaurant, bars, and catering services.
• Ensure food and beverage presentation, taste, and service quality meet hotel standards.
• Address and resolve customer complaints while striving to exceed guest expectations.
• Hire, onboard, and train food and beverage staff and manage shift schedules and performance.
• Manage inventory by tracking and controlling stock levels for food, alcohol, supplies, and vendor negotiation.
