**Job Title: Flux Core Welder**

**Job Description**

This role focuses on performing high-quality flux core welding and related fabrication work in a unionized manufacturing environment. You will train on first shift and then transition to second or third shift as needed, using a variety of welding processes and material handling equipment to produce precise, structurally sound components in accordance with shop blueprints and diagrams.

**Responsibilities**

+ Read and interpret shop blueprints, diagrams, and fabrication drawings to determine material requirements, welding procedures, and layout specifications.
+ Perform layout, positioning, alignment, fitting, clamping, holding, tack-welding, heat-bending, grinding, or bolting of component parts to achieve the required preparation, configuration, and position for welding.
