Responsibilities: Focuses primarily on RN-to-RN screenings, reviewing H&P, labs, and other clinical documentations for all admissions and ensures patients are medically appropriate for admission. Responds to inquiry calls regarding services. Oversees the admission process including the appropriateness of the admission, completion RN to RN screenings, orders for the admissions, and any additional required paperwork. Assists in assigning unit/program based on patient needs. Knowledgeable and able to explain hospital programs and services. Provides accurate and complete information to physicians regarding RN-to-RN screening. Communicates with physicians and providers to receive admission orders and medical clearance as needed.
