Job Summary
  • Handle pipe removal onboard, templating, fitting and re-installation works.
  • Carry out hotwork activities like grinding, gas cutting and drilling.
  • Perform pressure testing of spools/systems when required.
  • Perform other related jobs as assigned by HOD.
Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for accuracy of pipe fit-up, maintain proper edge preparation and root pass gap.
  • Must be a team player and promote cohesiveness.
  • Ensure personal safety and safety of others.
  • Report any defects found on tools and equipment to foreman/supervisor.
  • Always maintain good housekeeping and safety onboard vessel & workshop.
Requirements
  • 2 years of relevant working experience (preferably in Marine & Maritime industry).
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of pipe fittings and pipe welding.
