- Bachelor's Degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Fire Protection Safety Technology, or other related disciplines.
- At least 10 years of related professional experience.
- Will not now or in the future require sponsorship for an employment visa (examples: H-1B, L-1B, or other temporary visa status like OPT or F-1) to work in the U.S.
Ideally, you'll also have:
- Familiarity with NFPA and ICC codes and standards
- Willingness to travel to jobs sites around the world (estimate around 10-15% travel)
- Experience in fire sprinkler, suppression, and fire alarm system layout utilizing hydraulic calculation programs, and knowledge of NFPA Codes, and International Building and Fire Codes
- PE in any U.S. State, having passed the fire protection engineering examination.
