Summary The Financial Resources Specialist performs a variety of complex duties and assignments in support of the formulation, allocation, utilization, analysis, and reporting of financial resources necessary to accomplish the mission responsibilities of the state, area, and field offices of Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) for the Alabama State Office. Responsibilities Provides support, guidance, and assistance to the State Conservationist (STC) and State Leadership Team (SLT). Projecting, planning, allocating, executing fund certification, managing/tracking, and reporting on the financial and technical assistance resources needed to carry out the business of conservation at the state, area and field levels. Analyzes financial information to confirm proper execution of funds in accordance with applicable rules and regulations, and as directed by the state.
