Obtains comprehensive security information and assesses impact on the safety and security in the Mission.
Constant monitoring of open sources, collection of information through interlocutors and develop situational awareness.
Assist in managing security and safety incidents / crisis.
Manages all aspects of the administration and logistical work of the security unit.
Receives, records, and appropriately takes action based on information received through all communication means.
Assist in maintaining fire safety preparedness in all UNMOGIP facilities and conduct fire safety assessment and periodical drills for UNMOGIP facilities.
