For one of our clients, an international commodity trading company, we are seeking an experienced Fertilizer Trader to be based in Switzerland.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a portfolio of clients, suppliers, and trading counterparties.
• Identify and capture new business opportunities through market analysis and pricing intelligence.
• Negotiate fertilizer purchase and sales contracts, maximizing profitability while managing commercial, credit, operational, and price risk.
• Monitor fertilizer market trends, supply and demand dynamics, freight, pricing, availability, and regulatory developments.
• Collaborate with logistics, finance, risk, operations, and trade finance teams to ensure smooth contract execution.
• Develop new partnerships and contribute actively to the company’s commercial growth strategy.
