Hamilton’s Academic Resource Centers provide individualized peer tutoring programs to support the academic work of all students on campus. The Writing Center (WC) and Quantitative and Symbolic Reasoning Center (QSR) are responsible for administering peer tutoring and other support (like workshops and review sessions) in addition to providing resources for faculty teaching.
The Fellow for Academic Belonging supplies leadership, programming, and administrative support for the recurring (weekly) tutoring programs in the WC and QSR used by Opportunity Programs (OP) students. The Fellow will report to the Counselor for Academic Belonging in the OP office while also working collaboratively with the directors of all three offices to provide mentorship for new and returning OP students and build a strong connection between students and sources of academic support.
