Job Responsibilities
  • Maintain complete knowledge of all menu items available in the bar.
  • Know all liquor brands, beers, and non-alcoholic selections available in the bar.
  • Know every wine or champagne by the glass and major wines on the wine list.
  • Use designated glassware and garnishes for drinks.
  • Know all menu items, preparation methods and times, ingredients, sauces, portion sizes, garnishes, presentation, and prices.
  • Follow daily menu specials and be aware of out-of-stock items.
  • Understand bar layout, table set-ups, and hours of operation.
  • Input items into the Info Genesis system.
  • Manage daily arrivals, departures, and VIPs.
  • Be aware of in-house group activities, locations, and times.
  • Correctly maintain and use equipment.
  • Follow all department policies and service procedures.
