Conceptualize, develop and create design according to Company direction.
Research global, domestic and competitive markets to identify new trends.
Analyze and stay up-to-date with the emerging fashion trends of shapes, colours and designs.
Design development and fabric selection, design review and adoption, technical design and sample requisition, sampling production follow-up, sample inspection and price negotiation.
Check quality and measurement for all new sample to ensure that they are according to the spec before production.
Prepare documents and samples for presentations and photoshoots.
Together with respective Merchandising Manager, develop a merchandising strategy for the department by taking into consideration of customer profile, classification, resource structure, major vendors, fashion trends, items and price.
