The Job:
A great opportunity has become available for a Farm Stockperson to join a well run and established breeding pig farm in the Scottish Borders. This is a hands on role working as part of a small team, focused on maintaining high animal welfare and production standards.
You will be responsible for the day to day care of pigs within a breeding unit.

Key responsibilities: 
- Feeding pigs according to set feed plans
- Ensuring pigs always have access to fresh water
- Checking stock daily and reporting any health or welfare concerns
- Administering medication and keeping accurate records
- Assisting with AI (training can be provided)
- Moving pigs safely in line with farm procedures
- Monitoring ventilation and shed conditions
