The Namgis First Nation is looking for a physician to join the Namgis health team. The physician will work in clinic with 2 physicians and other health team members: 2 community care nurses, 2 mental health workers, addictions counselors, and a social worker. Visiting occupational therapists, social workers, mental health staff, intensive case managers and a midwife will also support care. Visiting specialists include Pediatrics, Rheumatology, Ophthalmology, and Psychiatry. The position requires ER coverage, inpatient hospital care, and long‑term patient care. The clinic and hospital are located on the Namgis First Nations reserve. The position is salaried, and housing can be provided.
