Family Court Advisor - CAFCASS 

Location: Liverpool

Pay/Salary: up to £37 per hour

Office Working: 2 days per month

Contract: Locum

We are currently working with CAFCASS to find an experienced Family Court Advisor for their Work to First Hearing Team, as well as their Work After First Hearing Team. With a stable management team and a mostly permanent workforce, CAFCASS, Liverpool are looking for someone with solid experience to be able to pick up a caseload and support their service.

Duties

Assessing risk, analysing complex cases, advising courts on child protection and welfare concerns, and working directly with children and families to achieve positive outcomes

Public Law - Cases where the Local Authority has intervened due to safeguarding concerns or risk of significant harm to a child

Private Law - Cases involving disputes between parents or carers regarding child arrangements, such as contact or residence.
