Facilities Supervisor

Position Summary

Reporting directly to the Support Services Director, Facilities Supervisor is responsible for directly overseeing the day-to-day operations of the physical plant and buildings, grounds, and care of other hospital property to help provide an optimum and cost-effective operation.
Routinely reviews and provides training and guidance to staff level positions to ensure that assigned areas are properly maintained according to hospital policies and standards of quality and safety.
For managing supplies and equipment, for promoting teamwork with staff, peers, physicians, and Hospital administration. This individual will be responsible for continuous development of the facility maintenance program, review and updating of policies and procedures, environment of care, emergency management and Performance Improvement activities.
