Job Description
The Supervisor, Facilities is geared toward electrical, mechanical and operational functionality of the building, including ensuring that the facility is operating in accordance with OSHA and other safety requirements. Supervisor, Facilities is responsible for coordinating all 3rd-party contractors in accordance with SGS Group OI policies.
- The Supervisor, Facilities is also responsible for ordering supplies, hazardous and nonhazardous waste management, training employees on laboratory equipment and facility-related issues, and participating in any plans for change or expansion.
- Maintain adequate stock of facility supplies and equipment, including inventory control and ordering
- Coordinate and ensure compliance with a preventive maintenance program
