Job Description The Building Technician will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and general upkeep of buildings within our facilities.
Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks on buildings, including structural elements, interior and exterior finishes, doors and windows, flooring, and other building components.
Building Work - Carpentry work – repair, rehung doors, repair/replace locksets, replace door/window accessories.
- Installation of partitions/ceilings, repainting.
- Floor finishes – carpet, vinyl, and timber work.
- Install and test new products; demonstration to clients on use and maintenance of installed equipment.
Plumbing & Sanitary Work - Repair leakage.
- Replace sanitary parts.
- Part ordering for repairs as needed.
Requirements - Minimum 2 years in Facilities Management environment.
