Summary/Objective
*The Fab Shop Fitter is responsible for fitting, assembling, and preparing metal parts and structures in a fabrication shop environment. This role requires the ability to read blueprints, use hand and power tools, and ensure all components meet quality and safety standards.

• Essential Functions
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
Measure, cut, align, and fit metal components for welding and assembly
Set up and operate fabrication tools and equipment (grinders, drills, saws, etc.)
Ensure proper alignment and fit-up of parts prior to welding
Inspect materials and finished components for accuracy and quality
Maintain a clean and organized work area
