            Printpack Rigid is seeking a candidate to fill an Extrusion Technician position in our Williamsburg, VA Facility on night shift. This position will report to the Extrusion Supervisor and his/her key responsibility is to operate the Extrusion machine safely and efficiently, in accordance with specifications and quality standards, to convert plastic resin into rolls of plastic and ensure adequate materials are available for production.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Set up and/or operate equipment (Extruder, vacuum pumps, material blenders, heated equipment, mobile pallet jacks, hoists, micrometers, microscopes, vision systems, edge trim or calibrated scales). 
Audit process parameters, documenting and ensuring correct inputs for product quality, per customer specifications.
Perform basic operator Preventative Maintenance (PM) to avoid shutdowns.
Recognize and respond to material handling issues (blender, scales, dryers, etc.)
